  • Chamber Block Party Series continues with July 11 North End Night Out, from 5 to 7 p.m.

  •     There’s always something to do in Crookston and on July 11 the Crookston Chamber of Commerce will be continuing the Block Party series with the North End Night Out.  The block parties offer great food, fun, music and deals from great Crookston businesses highlighted.  
        The North End Night Out features businesses all along University Ave., north of Fisher Ave.  Many businesses in this section of town will be open during the 5 to 7 p.m. block party and offering great discounts and promotions to their customers.
        The Crookston Inn will be serving their quarter-rack rib baskets and more under a canopy in their parking lot.  Businesses taking part are: AmericInn, Anytime Fitness, Crookston Inn, Crookston National Bank, Cycle of Threads, Edward Jones, Red River Valley Shows, Rejuv Salon and Spa, and Z Wireless – Verizon.
        Each week the Crookston Chamber of Commerce hosts a “Minute to Win It” game as part of the block party.   The winner of this week’s game will win Face the Cookie.
        Additionally each week many businesses around town participate in the Walk the Block Scavenger Hunt.  Those interested in participating visit the various businesses with a Crookston Chamber "C" logo for that week.  Take a picture of yourself with that logo in at least three of the participating businesses, post those pictures to the Crookston Chamber Facebook page or get them into the Chamber office to be entered in a drawing for a prize.   
           
        This week the Crookston Chamber is giving away $5 Chamber Bucks.  July 11 businesses participating in the Scavenger Hunt are: Beggs Insurance, Crookston Chamber & Visitors Bureau, Crookston Eye Clinic, Crookston Paint & Glass, Crookston Pet Clinic, El Gordito Market, Enlow Computing Services, Erickson Embroidery & Design, Four Seasons Clothing, Golden Link Senior Center, KROX Radio, Longtin Agency, M & H, Montague’s Flower Shop, Oman State Farm Insurance, The Prescription Shoppe, This Is Sew Broadway, Torkelson Repair Shop, Widman’s Candy Shop, Willow & Ivy, and Wish Upon A Star.
        After a break for Independence Day, the Crookston Chamber of Commerce Block Party series and the Walk the Block Scavenger Hunt resume on July 11th and continues each Thursday.  For more information on the block parties please go to visitcrookston.com/blockparties.
