One will be in retail center on north end, the other will be on South Broadway downtown.
It appears that Crookston will soon go from having no frozen yogurt businesses to being home to two. Rossalyn Nephew continues to prepare to open her Berry Burst Frozen Yogurt shop on South Broadway, next to the Times, and CHEDA earlier this year gave her a $30,000 loan to help make her vision a reality.
Before Nephew officially launched her venture, there was talk that national frozen yogurt franchise CherryBerry might be coming to town, but that talk fizzled when a franchise holder apparently backed away from any plans here. Then, recently, CHEDA Executive Director Craig Hoiseth said that it appeared another CherryBerry franchise owner was eyeing Crookston again. CherryBerry is coming soon to the retail center anchored by Rejuv Salon & Spa on Crookston’s north end.
