They'll lead farm bill discussion at UMC's Youngquist Auditorium.

With the fate of the new farm bill still up in the air – it's been approved in the U.S. Senate but defeated in the U.S. House – U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Seventh District Rep. Collin Peterson, both Minnesota Democrats, will be in Crookston Monday afternoon, July 1, to update everyone on what's going on with the bill.

They're scheduled to lead a discussion in the University of Minnesota Crookston's Younguist Auditorium from 3 to 4 p.m. All are welcome.

Peterson, the Ranking Member on the House Agriculture Committee, said Republicans in the House inserted amendments into the bill that doomed it when it came time to vote.
