Authorities say Michael Howard Hunter sent a letter postmarked Dec. 12, 2012, addressed to Judge Rodney Webb in Fargo. Webb died in August 2009.
The letter from Hunter allegedly contained threats to Webb and three federal prosecutors.
Hunter has an extensive criminal history that includes bank robberies in Indiana and Washington State. He's currently behind bars at the New Castle Correctional Facility in New Castle, Ind.
