  • A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit alleging a St. Paul charter school violated a student's free-speech rights by blocking her from passing out anti-abortion fliers.
The Star Tribune reports terms of the agreement are not detailed in federal court records.
But Nova Classical Academy says in a news release that the agreement calls for the school to clarify its policies regarding free speech and the distribution of materials at school.
The school says the agreement did not contain any finding of fault or violation of law by any party.
Nicholas Zinos of St. Paul filed the lawsuit on behalf of his sixth-grade daughter.
Zinos deferred comment Tuesday to his attorney, who did not immediately a phone call left by The Associated Press afterhours.
