Casey Morin drove in four runs on three hits and Dave Grabowski also had 3 hits.

The Crookston Reds baseball team tromped the Fertile Bees Friday 14-1 in seven innings at Jim Karn Field. It was Crooskton's first victory of the season as it is now 1-5.

Casey Morin had three hits, including a double and drove in four runs. Dave Grabowski also had three hits, including a double, with three RBIs an three runs scored. Paul Smith drew four walks and four runs scored. Kody Kawlewski and Skip Toops each had two hits and scored three runs. Kawlewski also had a triple and a stolen base.

Dillon Nelson made his season debut, pitching five innings and allowing one earned run on five hits and three walks. Henry Stanaslowski pitched two scoreless innings in relief.

The Reds, who lost to the Bees 6-5 in the season opener on May 24, jumped out to a 6-1 lead after two innings and scored four runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings.

Crookston was scheduled to play in the Wolf Lake Tournament Saturday and Sunday but that was cancelled. It will host the Thief River Falls Thieves on Tuesday with the first pitch at 7:15 p.m.
