Event was moved inside to UMC's Lysaker Gymnasium due to rain threat.

The West Polk County Relay for Life Friday night and Saturday morning was moved inside, to Lysaker Gymnasium at UMC because of the threat of rain. The floor was filled with luminaries honoring, celebrating and remembering those who have
battled cancer.

In addition to the opening ceremony featuring Honorary Chairs Jenny Amon and Curt Swenby, there was a silent auction and lots of snacks. Survivors were celebrated during the Survivors' Lap, and as the evening gave way to night, the luminaria were lit during the luminary ceremony. In all, 14 teams participated.
