  •     A Crookston man riding an electric mobility cart in downtown Crookston Sunday evening injured when he was struck by a vehicle.
        The Crookston Police Department reports that Bruce Blatchford, 62, was taken by Crookston Area Ambulance Service after the accident, which was reported at 8:09 p.m. at the intersection of South Broadway and West Fletcher Street.
        Upon arrival, officers found Blatchford lying in the street. Officers provided first aid until ambulance personnel arrived.
        According to the CPD, Chantel Boyle, 21, was driving a car west on Fletcher Street, stopped at the stop sign and then attempted to cross South Broadway, when she struck Blatchford.
        Boyle was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
