The adult division (17 and over) features a 400-meter swim (16 lengths of the pool), 14-mile bike ride and a 3.2-mile run.

The inaugural Crookston Triathlon will be held Saturday, August 10 at the Crookston Pool.

A kids division (16 and under) will be held with distances of 50-meter swim (two lengths of the pool), 2.4-mile bike ride and 1.2-mile run.

The adult division (17 and over) features a 400-meter swim (16 lengths of the pool), 14-mile bike ride and a 3.2-mile run.

There is also a relay division of men, women and mixed divisions.

On Friday, August 9, from 5:30-8 p.m. there will be an AYCE Pasta Meal served at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. There will also be race check-in during the meal.

Saturday's check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the pool with pre-race announcements at 8:45 a.m.

The Altru Clinic Kids Division begins at 9 a.m. with heats three minutes apart.

The RiverView Health Adult Division begins at 10:15 a.m. with heats running ten minutes apart. An awards ceremony will be at approximately 1:30 p.m. for all divisions.
