If he complies with the terms, the charge will be cleared from his record.
A Bowman man charged with negligent homicide in a vehicle crash that killed a retired abbot from the Assumption Abbey in Richardton has received a deferred prison sentence.
The Dickinson Press reports (http://bit.ly/11YHUD5 ) that 22-year-old MicKenzie Robertson will be on probation for two years and will have to pay $525 in fines and fees. If he complies with the terms, the charge will be cleared from his record.
Robertson was accused in a crash last August near Belfield that killed 73-year-old Patrick Moore, of New England. Robertson's attorney says his client apparently fell asleep at the wheel.
