  • The Pirate girls' golf team finished third at the Thief River Falls Quadrangular Thursday at Thief River Golf Club
     
    Seventh grader Ally Tiedemann and freshman Leah Trostad, who competed at the state tennis tournament as a doubles team this fall, each carded 94s to lead Crookston. Eighth grader Maddie Nicholls posted a 102, while junior Amber Trostad and sophomore Abby Parr each shot a 103.
     
    East Grand Forks' Kelsey Schlenk earned medalist honors with a 92.
     
    Crookston will compete at the East Grand Forks Quadrangular Monday at Valley Golf Club.
