The head of the University of North Dakota Alumni Association and Foundation is stepping down.
Tim O'Keefe says he will retire as vice president and CEO of the organization in March 2014.
O'Keefe has led the alumni group for 11 years. He has spearheaded a $300 million fundraising campaign and helped establish nearly 500 new endowments.
UND President Robert Kelley says the school "has a great friend in Tim O'Keefe."
School officials say transition team will be named to find O'Keefe's replacement.
