The school district issued a statement Wednesday saying the student did not intend any harm. But students at Pioneer Elementary School were evacuated as a precaution.

Police Sgt. Mark Buschena tells The Bismarck Tribune (http://bit.ly/16ptITV ) that a bomb squad determined the grenades were not functional. They were confiscated anyway, and Buschena says it's possible the student could be cited.
