Crookston improves to 5-4 on the season and will travel to Bemidji Thursday for the Northwest Quadrangular.
The Pirate boys' tennis team earned a pair of victories over Section 8A opponents, Detroit Lakes and Perham/Wadena-Deer Creek, Tuesday in Crookston. The Pirates beat the Lakers 5-2 for the second time this season to start the day and took down Perham/W-DC 6-1 to cap it.
