It's the latest benefit of Harvest for Hunger initiative.

CHS, Inc.'s annual Harvest for Hunger has once again reaped a major reward for Crookston-based North Country Food Bank, in the form of a check for $95,454 that
was presented to NCFB Executive Director Susie Novak this week at the facility's downtown offices.

The Harvest for Hunger was marked by fundraisers such as snow golfing and raffles, and some farmers simply donate grain to the cause.

Every dollar the NCFB receives, Novak said, can be turned into five meals.
