  • Students from Jamestown High School once again are representing North Dakota at the national LifeSmarts competition.
LifeSmarts tests students about personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology, and consumer rights and responsibilities. The Jamestown team earned the trip to nationals in Atlanta by winning the state competition.
The Jamestown Sun reports (http://bit.ly/10fEWsI ) that the team is made up of the same students who competed in last year's national finals — seniors Declan O'Higgins, Kyle Gee and Mariah Schlenker, junior Zach Fossen and sophomore Kelsey Becker. They finished 12th out of 32 teams last year.
    The national competition ends Tuesday.
