  • UMC Baseball cancels games vs. Concordia

  • The Minnesota Crookston baseball team has cancelled today’s games against Concordia, St. Paul. The games were scheduled to be played in St. Paul, Minn., but were previously moved to Veterans Field in Minnetonka, Minn., to be played at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. However impending weather in Minnesota caused the Golden Eagles and Golden Bears to cancel.
     
    The severe weather this winter and spring has caused the Golden Eagles to cancel six games and to play all of their 27 games at either neutral sites or on the road. UMC is scheduled to play this weekend against Augustana. The games were scheduled to be played at the UMC Baseball Field, but have already been moved to Karras Park Home of Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, S.D.
