A Fargo man has been sentenced to nine and a half years in prison for possessing child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon announced Monday that 26-year-old Brandon Lee Stockburger was sentenced on three counts of possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors and one count of receipt of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors. Stockburger earlier pleaded guilty to the charges.
In addition to the prison term, Stockburger must be supervised for life and register as a sex offender.
Prosecutors say more than 2,000 images and 150 videos depicting the sexual abuse of children were found on Stockburger's computer.
