  • Mark Elliot Dale, age 57, Tempe, Arizona, formerly of Crookston, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home in Tempe.
Mark was born on November 27, 1955 in Crookston, Minnesota, son of Chester and Josephine (Demarais) Dale. At the age of one, after the death of his mother he moved in with his Uncle Raymond and Aunt Alice Dale who then raised him. He grew up in Crookston and graduated from Central High School. He worked for D&B Furnishings for many years, before moving to Arizona thirty years ago.          He worked as a jack of all trades and also followed the rodeo circuit, riding bulls breaking many bones. He owned his own record company, Laurel-Mark Records and recorded a record, “Santa, He’s A Cowboy” and "The Silent Sound of A Whisper" and wrote many other songs.     Mark was definitely a cowboy.  Most recently, he owned and operated a lawn service.
