A North Dakota woman has been charged in the stabbing death of a man on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
Morning Star Brown has pleaded not guilty in federal court to second degree murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Authorities say Brown stabbed Jarrett Two Bear after a day of drinking at a Fort Yates residence on March 3. He died on the way to a Bismarck hospital.
Brown is also accused of stabbing another man in the arm as he tried to get the knife away from her.
A public defender in the case was not available for comment.
Trial is set for April 20 in Bismarck.
