A 44-year-old woman who works as a paraprofessional in the Fertile-Beltrami School is charged with fourth degree criminal sexual conduct, with the victim being a 17-year-old male student at the school.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office states that Terina Ann Parr was arrested March 8 and made her first appearance in a Crookston court on March 13. She’s scheduled to make her next appearance on Monday, March 25 at 11 a.m.
The PCSO received the report on March 7 of “potential inappropriate behavior” between the student and Parr, who was hired by the school district last November.
Parr’s attorney, Blair Nelson of Bemidji, said his client is actually the victim in the case.
Parr faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
