  • Authorities searched a Maplewood lake but found no signs of a missing St. Paul woman presumed dead.
Divers searched Keller Lake Tuesday for the body of Kira Trevino. Police say cadaver dogs gave a sign of a possible cadaver scent on the lake's west side but the search wrapped up that afternoon with nothing found.
Volunteers turned up something of interest during a search of Keller Regional Park last weekend for clues in Trevino's disappearance. Police have not disclosed what it was.
The 30-year-old central Wisconsin native disappeared Feb. 21. Her husband, Jeffery Trevino, has been charged with her murder after large amounts of blood were found in their home.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/11fyIbT ) reports police say it was the first time divers were used in the case.
