  • Alysha Devine, the daughter of Amie Oman-Devine, who is a Crookston native and the sister of Crookston State Farm agents Andy and Jon Oman, signed to play women's basketball next season for Alaska Anchorage.
     
    Minnesota, Crookston and a number of other NSIC schools recruited Devine, who lives in Wasilla, Alaska and is currently vying for her third consecutive Class 4A State title.
     
    The 6-foot senior forward is a two-time all-tournament team member at State.
     
    Longtime Crookston residents Doug and Sandi Oman, Devine's grandparents, are in Alaska cheering on Devine's bid for a third-straight State championship.
     
    Devine's brother, Connor Devine, is a redshirt freshman at South Dakota State in Brookings, S.D.
