  • The 51st International Sugarbeet Institute is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, March 13 and 14, at the Fargodome in Fargo. It’s North America’s largest sugarbeet trade show, with approximately 125 commercial exhibitors in attendance to visit with producers about their sugarbeet-related products and services.  More than 2,300 visitors attended the 2012 show, held in Grand Forks.
Speakers include Luther Markwart on Wednesday and Howard Dahl on Thursday.  Markwart, executive vice president of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association, will address “Sugar Industry Challenges & Opportunities in 2013.”  Dahl, president & CEO of Amity Technology, Fargo, will speak on “The Sugarbeet Industry Five Years From Now.”
Fargodome doors open at 9:00 a.m. on both days.
