  • The University of North Dakota says it has suspended men's basketball play-by-play radio announcer Paul Ralston for two games due to comments he made after Saturday's game against Northern Arizona.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that Ralston used the words "choke job" in his interview session with UND coach Brian Jones after the team's 74-72 overtime loss at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
North Dakota held a narrow lead in the final minute of regulation, but Northern Arizona rallied to force overtime and win.
Athletic director Brian Faison says Ralston will not call UND's Big Sky Conference game at Northern Colorado on Wednesday or the Bracketbuster game Saturday at Nebraska-Omaha.
Associate athletic director Kyle Doperalski will handle the play-by-play duties for those games.
