The city of Williston's recent annexation of about 7.5 square miles of land north of the city means residents of about 30 recreational vehicles have to find a new place to live.
Housing is short in the oil patch, and many people live in RVs. But living in the vehicles is illegal in city limits, so the owner of an RV camp in the newly annexed area is shutting it down. Kenny Willard tells The Forum (http://bit.ly/VUnuSP ) that he fears he'll be subject to fines.
Mayor Ward Koeser says city leaders haven't forced the campers to move or begun enforcing any other ordinances in the new area. He says the city will give people time to respond if they need to make changes.
