Great weather accompanies 10th annual event

Great weather brought out big numbers to Saturday’s 10th Annual Ice Buster Daze Events. The day began with breakfast at the Eagles and ended with supper, prizes and fun at the Eagles and, between, included snowmobile radar runs and ice fishing on the Red Lake River.

A record number of ice anglers, 222, which shattered the previous record by around 70. About an hour before the fishing ended, 20 had been caught, with a 1.7 pound sauger being the biggest.
