  •  A North Dakota woman who spent 11 hours in a South Fargo Walmart before reportedly trying to steal more than 75 items has been charged with felony theft.
The Forum newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/WMKRkI) that 20-year-old Jessie Fay Cavanaugh, of Saint Michael, appeared in Cass County Court on Monday and was charged with felony theft.
Charging documents say store loss preventions officers watched Cavanaugh in the store for 11 hours and called the police when she tried to leave to get a cab. The documents state that she had 78 items on her body. They were worth more than $1,000.
An arresting officer observed that Cavanaugh appeared to be under the influence.
Cavanaugh's lawyer says he could not comment on the case.
