Officers arrested Harrington on charges of resisting police and simple assault.
Officers arrested a 22-year-old man who police say physically attacked employees in the kitchen of a downtown Fargo restaurant.
Kurtis Harrington entered the kitchen of Mezzaluna on Friday from an exterior entrance and yelled "How's it going?" before punching several employees, said Fargo police Sgt. Mark Lykken.
Lykken told The Forum (http://bit.ly/X3ajAd ) that Harrington apparently first punched a woman in the face and then punched a man in the neck. After the employees realized what was happening, they fought to restrain him.
"When officers arrived, staff were restraining him in the kitchen," he said.
Harrington then kicked and struck one officer, Lykken said. Two male employees and one female employee sustained minor injuries, but no medical attention was needed.
Officers arrested Harrington on charges of resisting police and simple assault. Attorney information was not immediately available.
The incident was contained to the kitchen, said Mezzaluna owner Eric Watson.
"To the best of my knowledge, no one in the dining room even knew," Watson said.
When officers interviewed the employees after the incident, they reported that everything happened quickly. They saw Harrington looking into the windows of the restaurant before he entered, Lykken said. None of the employees knew Harrington.
