  •     A Minnesota state trooper following a red motorcycle through Crookston Tuesday afternoon entered in the license plate information on the motorcycle and found it wasn't registered, so he subsequently pulled over the driver. During a pat-down search, the Times was told at the scene, the man, identified as Kyle Delonais, 21, of Minot, N.D., was found to allegedly be in possession of an unregistered handgun.
When his name was entered into the computer, it was also determined that Delonais had numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest.
In rapid fashion, Crookston Police and other law enforcement agencies responded to the scene shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, and Delonais was taken into custody without incident at the corner of Second Street and North Broadway in downtown Crookston, adjacent to city hall. He's in custody at the Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston, with a charge of felon in possession of a firearm pending.
An SUV with three people and a dog inside that was allegedly accompanying Delonais was also searched at the scene and subsequently released.
