Crookston native started her career as a teacher.

The Crookston Daily Times welcomes Jaime Jensen to their newsroom staff. Jensen will serve as a writer and photographer, covering a number of community events, county happenings and court proceedings.

    Jensen is the daughter of Jody and Rick “Jens” Jensen and the eldest sibling of Sheyna and Jacey Jensen. She is a graduate of Crookston Central High School and attended Bemidji State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, minoring in reading education and children's literature. After several successful years in the field of teaching, her professional career changed directions.

    Jensen worked out of the the Eagan, Minn. location of Thomson Reuters as a professional writer responsible for creating content for marketing websites, in particular those pertaining to law firms and attorneys. Following a significant period of employment, Jensen and a team of colleges chose to form their own company, building marketing websites for a vast variety of clients throughout the United States. She will continue this venture in conjunction with writing for the Times.
