  • The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan stopped in Crookston on Tuesday morning and made a visit to Highland Elementary. Students got the chance to ask Twins great Tony Oliva and current pitchers Scott Diamond and Glen Perkins some interesting questions. One question for Glen Perkins was what his favorite thing to do on an off day. He answered, "A lot of guys just like to have some R and R time. Low key, just relax. I like to go out and read and kind of relax that way." Scott Diamond was asked what it was like to be famous. His reply? "We don't look at ourselves as famous. We look at ourselves as normal people. We're just excited to do what we do.”
