A 9-month-old girl remains in critical condition after her family's sport utility vehicle went through the ice on Lake Minnetonka.
The Star Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/13RgDPk ) the girl was transferred Saturday from a Waconia hospital to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek says the 41-year-old father was driving his 31-year-old wife, 2-year-old daughter and baby girl home from a restaurant at about 5 p.m. Friday when he decided to take a shortcut across the ice on the way home to Minnetrista.
The sheriff says there are indications the driver was drinking, although definitive blood test results are not yet available.
