  • Warroad hasn't lost since Nov. 17 and that hot streak for the top ranked team in Class A continued Tuesday with a 7-0 win over Section 8A rival Pirates in Crookston.
     
    Lisa Marvin, Demi Gardner and Sierra Hanowski each scored two goals, while Kayla Gardner had a goal and five assists.
     
    Pirate eighth grader Lexie Cormican recorded 35 saves in goal, while Warroad's Dayton Hilgert had 15 saves.
     
    Kayla Garnder put the Warriors up 1-0 at the 5:31 mark, while Hanowski scored at the 9:11 and 14:17 marks to make it 3-0.
     
    Marvin made it 5-0 with goals in the second period at 5:08 and 9:37. Demi Gardner scored at the 12:27 mark of the second period and the 1:05 mark of the third period.
     
    Warroad improves to 15-1-1.
     
    Crookston falls to 8-8 and will host Proctor/Hermantown Friday at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday it will host Hibbing/Chisholm at 3 p.m.
