Mary Jane Bohler, 77, of New Franken, Wisconsin passed away on December 26, 2012 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Born May 25, 1935 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Mary Jane was a registered nurse, graduating from Milwaukee School of Nursing in 1956. She married Wallace Bohler in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on June 14, 1958. Over time, the two made their home in Green Bay, Denmark, and New Franken. Of that union, four children were born. MJB enjoyed flower arranging, puzzles, knitting, reading, and caring for her family. She was active in her church, working with the Cradle Roll and LWML.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Leona Berndt. Survived by her husband, Wallace; children, Scott (Marjorie) Bohler of Delano, MN; Rev. Steven (Lisa) Bohler of Crookston, MN; Jeffrey Bohler of Glide, OR; and Jill (David) Weiland of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; brother, Jim (Joyce) Berndt of Howard; as well as eight grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan (Heather), Amy, Jacob, and Abigail Bohler and Magdalene, Leah, and Elizabeth Weiland. Also, survived by a special cousin, Bernice Suess of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; in-laws, June Propsom, Dorothy Anderson, Donald and Viola Bohler.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Christ of the Bay Lutheran Church, 450 Laverne Drive, Green Bay, with Pastor Curtis DeCoste officiating.
