Goal met, funds raised exceed expectations.

Toys for Tots, a charity sponsored by the employees of the City of Crookston to provide gifts for needy children in the community, well surpassed its goal of raising $5,000 this year, taking in a total of $8,371 for volunteers to purchase age and gender appropriate gifts for 413 children from 151 families. The remaining balance in the account will be carried over to next year's campaign. Toy and gift wrap donations have also been received.
