  • A Grand Forks woman has admitted to providing the heroin that authorities say led to the death of popular Fargo blues guitarist Cody Connor last summer.
The Forum newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/UazQoU ) that 24-year-old Nicole Wadsworth pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Fargo to conspiracy and drug charges. Assistant U.S. Attorney Chris Myers says Wadsworth faces at least 20 years in prison and could get a life sentence.
Myers says Wadsworth was involved in distributing the heroin that 26-year-old Seth Lund injected into Connors in June, leading to Connors' overdose death. Lund pleaded guilty in October to a drug charge and is to be sentenced Jan. 23.
