25-year-old Jacob Greeman is accused of entering the back seat of a woman's car in the store parking lot early Saturday and holding a hand over her mouth and a knife to her throat.

Authorities have charged a man in the attempted kidnapping of a woman at a Minot Walmart.

The Minot Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/TNs9VG) that 25-year-old Jacob Greeman is accused of entering the back seat of a woman's car in the store parking lot early Saturday and holding a hand over her mouth and a knife to her throat. She was able to get away and called police from inside the store.

A telephone call to Greeman's home on Tuesday rang unanswered. Court documents do not list an attorney for him.

Greeman is charged with terrorizing, breaking into a motor vehicle, making a criminal attempt at kidnapping and possessing drug paraphernalia. Police say the woman does not know Greeman and the alleged crime appears to be random.
