  • Pirate sophomore Aaron Hollcraft recorded 15 points, and his four second-half threes helped the Pirates put up a fight against Perham, but the Yellowjackets used an 18-point first half lead to win 74-54 Friday in Crookston.
    Senior Alex Boone had 12 points, while junior Michael Hefta and senior Alec Boike each had seven points for Crookston.
    Josh Nordick led Perham with a game-high 17 points. He was backed up by Sam Muer with 11 points and Tyler Glines with ten points.
    The Pirates are now 1-1 on the season and will travel to Roseau Tuesday to face the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Crookston will host Warroad Friday at 7:30 p.m.
