A North Dakota hunting enthusiast has started a state chapter of a guide service that specializes in hunting and fishing trips for military veterans wounded in the line of duty.
David Morse, of Grand Forks, says the Wounded Warriors Guide Service joins chapters in Mankato, Minn., and Bemidji, Minn., where the organization was founded in 2009.
Morse, a member of the North Dakota National Guard, says North Dakota has a "huge untapped area of resources" for injured soldiers to go hunting.
Morse tells the Grand Forks Herald (http://bit.ly/120RbXI) the guide service has a specialized wheelchair and a specialized pontoon, as well as other equipment and gear.
