Rural Angus church burglarized

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a burglary at the Melo Lutheran Church located in Section 5 of Brandt Township in rural Angus.

    The burglary was reported on Friday morning, Dec. 7. A large amount of property was stolen, including a Bible, sculptures of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, a Christmas tree and Christmas ornaments.
