Friendly 'Mob' at Wish Upon a Star

The Retail Merchants Association and Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the  second “Cash Mob” Thursday evening, this one at the Wish Upon a Star consignment shop, owned by Kim and Jim Dans, at 120 West Sixth Street.

For a half-hour, merchandise was marked down 25 to 75 percent. In the photo, shoppers browse for bargains while waiting for the $200 prize drawing at 6:30 p.m.

Lee Tibbets won the $200.

The first Cash Mob was held at the Irishman’s Shanty earlier this fall, and the third one will be held at Willow & Ivy on Dec. 12.
