Irene was born on May 28, 1915 at Dorothy, MN, to Victor and Emma (Provost) Casavan. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith and attended country school. After Emery’s passing on September 10, 1992 Irene came to Crookston the next year to make her home. She was a member of the Cathedral parish, and had been a resident of the Villa for several years.
