John H. Corcoran, 69, of Crookston, MN, died late Wednesday evening, November 21, 2012, at the Hillcrest Senior Living Center in Red Lake Falls, MN. John was born and raised in Lowell, MA, and later served hi s country as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces. Through the years his travels took him to various parts of the country, and he was employed as a chef at restaurants in several cities in which he lived. He came to Crookston in 1990 and spent several months living at The Care and Share Center. He had been a part-time employee of the Novel Cup in Crookston for several years before entering the RiverView Nursing Home, and had moved to the Hillcrest Senior Living Center just a few weeks ago. He leaves behind several acquaintances and a very good friend, Marlo Moren, of Crookston. John was an animal lover, and his pet cat was an important part of his life.
A memorial service for John Corcoran will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, November 29, 2012, in the Care and Share Chapel in Crookston with The Rev. Vincent Miller, presiding.
