  • Derek J. Salem, age 27 of Coon Rapids, passed away Nov. 18, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. Derek worked at Ruan Transport in Brooklyn Park.
        
    He is survived by wife, Sarah; children, Devin and Dylan; mother, Judy; father, James; brother Dean; grandparents, Annetta Raymond and Shirley Salem; and many other relatives and friends.
        
    Memorial service to be held Saturday, Nov 24, 1 PM with visitation starting at 11 AM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW. Andover. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
