Robert Raymond Stanislowski, age 72, passed away at Mount Olivet Home in Minneapolis, MN on Nov. 8, 2012. He was born Nov. 10, 1939 to Ben and Agnes Stanislowski, in Warren MN. Robert was raised on a farm by Warsaw ND. He graduated from High School and the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston. MN.
Robert spent 31 years in the US Army and the North Dakota National Guard. He retired in l987 from Military service. Robert was a master automotive machinist and retired from Napa Crookston Welding in 2003. He was an avid sports fan and supported the local teams. Robert loved to travel and traveled the whole world with the Air force after retiring. He was a member of the Eagles club, the American Legion and the Retired Military.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Ben and Agnes Stanislowski, brother Gerald Stanislowski, sister Mary Stanislowski, daughter Tammy Stanislowski, stepson Tyrone Hammergren, and grandson Jordan Stanislowski.
He is survived by his former wives, Ann (Walsh), Sharon (Hammergren) and Veronica (Knoll); daughter Roberta (Dave) Schreck, St. Louis Park, MN, son Robert Stanislowski, Eagan MN, and daughter Debbie Johnson (Lisa Salonek), Minneapolis. MN; 9 Grandchildren Tara, Alyssa, Jessica, Alison, Crystal, John, Kathy, Dennis and Henry; one great granddaughter, Molly, several stepchildren, Tracy, Teresa, Tamara, and Troy; sisters Pat Stanislowski, Crookston, Kathy Brosemer, Eagle Bend, Ala. and Raenelle (Rich) Simmons, Crookston; brother Francis (Paulette), Perham, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on Friday Nov. 16, 2012.
