Sophomore, junior and senior parents and students can get all of their questions answered in CHS auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.
Last year, as part of a national initiative through the American Council on Education, Gov. Mark Dayton proclaimed the second week of November as Minnesota College Application Week. So, this week at Crookston High School, UMC’s Achieve More program is helping CHS students apply to colleges in the region, free of charge. Usually, colleges charge an application fee.
Parents can get it on the action, too, at Parent Night, which will be held in the CHS auditorium beginning at 7 p.m Thursday, Nov. 15. At the event, parents of sophomores, juniors and seniors – as well as their students – will have an opportunity to learn more about the financial, social and academic aspects of attending a post-secondary institution.
Topics include financial aid, FAFSA, ACT tests/scores, college applications, college visits, residential life, housing, and a general question and answer session.
