The Eldred skyline continues to change dramatically by the day as the new Farmers Elevator continues to rise up where the old facility burned to the ground in 2011.
Manager Dan Grunewald tells the Times that the new bins and scale should be operational by February 2013 but that it’ll likely be March until the entire project is finished.
“The biggest thing is that we’ll be a lot faster,” he said. “We could do 5,000 bushels an hour before and now we’ll be able to do 20,000 bushels an hour.”
