He rear-ends truck driven by Curfman of Thief River Falls on Highway 75.
A Fertile man was critically injured in a collision Friday morning at the intersection of Highway 75 and 210th St. NW in Marshall County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, Kevin W. Swenson, 49, was driving a 2009 semi tractor-trailer (model unknown) northbound on #75 when he rear-ended a 1994 International 8000 driven by Theodore J. Curfman, 61, of Thief River Falls. The State Patrol report states that Curfman turned from 210th St. NW northbound onto #75 when his vehicle was rear-ended by Swenson.
Curfman suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, and both were transported by ambulance to North Valley Health Center in Warren.
The accident was reported at 6:09 a.m. Friday.
Curfman is familiar to Crookston residents, who have seen him and his “Curfman Critters” at Winter Wonderland and other events from time to time.
