  • United Way 'Impact' felt at Castle Park Natural Play Space

  • The Castle Park Natural Play Space has received Impact Grant funding from the United Way of Crookston. United Way of Crookston Executive Director Shannon Stassen presented a check for $8,000 to support the project to Polk County Public Health Director Sarah Reese and Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) Coordinator Kirsten Fagerlund.
    Stassen said the Natural Play Space is a wonderful asset to the community that will benefit kids of all ages, and it clearly creates a positive impact in the areas of health and education which are area of focus for United Way.
    The United Way of Crookston supports over 30 agencies and projects in the Crookston area. All contributions are distributed within 25 miles of Crookston.
